MLS Motor Racing's Tire
Blankets are designed to keep your tires warm between
runs. They insulate
the tires' tread surface against the cold. The front panel is
also insulated which captures the residule heat from your brakes.
Tire Blankets
provide more
insulation than 1 inch
of R14 fiberglass insulation without the inconvenience of that itchy
fiberglass.
The
Tire Blankets were specifically designed for
easy installation and
removal between runs so there is no need to have your own personal pit
crew to use our blankets effectively. All four
blankets
can be installed in less than 20 seconds and they will stay in put. |

Their
heavy weight and the rear gusset keeps the Tire Blankets from
blowing away in winds up to 25 mph so there
is no need to wedge
something between your fender and this
cover, or prop something heavy up against them. Yet
they are so easy to remove you can leave
them on your tires until the last possible minute which
insures that your next run
will be on the warmest tires possible.

Easy
Storage and Transportation
At the end of a long day racing Tire
Blankets
can be folded up and stored for easy transport. You
can even wad
them up in a ball and just shove them
into any available space inside your car or truck or trailer, they can
take it. Tire Blankets can
be folded, crumpled and wadded up. They always returns to
their original shape and will continue to
keep your tires warm event after event. Do
that
with
a fiberglass or those delicate mylar covers and you will find that the
minimal protection that they used to provide is now completely
diminished
High
Quality and Long Life
No
more do you have to re-make or repair mylar or fiberglass covers every
year. Tire
Blankets are
durable. The external black material is the same
material which can be found in high end backpacks which you know will
survive many years of use and abuse.
This material also has a
water resistant coating that also acts as a wind break.
Between the exterior layers is half inch of
insulation.
Then it's all sown toegether with high tensile strength tread which
is protected by a strong binding. There are no
zippers to
fail or
buckles to break with our design. All this careful attention
detail ensures that Tire
Blankets will be usable for years
to come.

I got to use my MLS
blankets for the
first time at the Houston Tour and they worked better than expected.
When we first pulled into our grid spot after a run the tires would be
around 120 degrees and after 10-15 minutes of waiting with the blankets

I don't normally give away
speed secrets, but I'm damn impressed with the MLS blankets I bought from
Eric, and he deserves credit for a great product. Believe it or
not, but I had warm rear tires between runs on Sunday and HOT fronts! There's no way my
old foil over bubble wrap blankets would have done that. Plus, they didn't
blow away and I could stuff all four in the Z06 without worryng about damaging
them.
Awesome product Eric. I should have bought a set last fall, and then
maybe I
would have caught Bart at the Sunday Twin Solo.

I was
very impressed with the blankets. I was most worried
that they would blow off of the car but they stayed put, even with a
decent breeze.
